February 19, 2011: Black Belt Testing
Congratulations from Mr. Winsor and all the students of Cabot Taekwon-Do to Mr. DJ Clarke who successfully completed all aspects of his testing on February 19th and has received his promotion to 2nd Dan. Mr. Clarke had to complete a physical and written test prior to being eligible for his Black Belt test. The 2nd Dan testing consisted of a physical component followed by patterns, self defence, sparring, board breaking and theory. Mr. Clarke did an excellent job showing indomitable spirit and perseverance.
February 12, 2011: Colour Belt Testing

January 22, 2011: Oakville Seminar/Senior Black Belt Testing
Cabot Taekwon-Do sent 9 Black Belt members to the Annual Technical Conference in Oakville, ON. The seminar covered all aspects of Taekwon-Do. All students had a wonderful experience and look forward to next years conference.
Following the technical conference was a Senior Black Belt testing. Cabot Taekwon-Do is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Rick Winsor to 5th Degree Black Belt and Mr. Jeff Butt to 3rd Degree Black Belt. Both Mr. Winsor and Mr. Butt were required to complete a physical test and a written test to become eligible for promotion which was conducted in Oakville, Ontario on January 22nd 2011. Testing took place at Morningstar Taekwon-Do DoJang, Members of the promotion committee consisted of Master Vincent Affatigato 7th Degree - United States, Mr. Lee Benson 6th Degree - United States, and Mr. Mike Morningstar 5th Degree - Canada. The testing consisted of all aspects of Taekwon-Do including fitness, patterns, sparring, self defence, theory, and board breaking.
