Mr. Rick Winsor, 4th Dan
Rick Winsor is a certified 4th Degree (Dan) Black Belt (February 26, 2006), International Instructor. He is also certified
by the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) as an Examiner and is the first and only ITF Class A Umpire in Newfoundland and Labrador.
He also maintains up-to-date courses in First Aid & CPR.
Mr. Winsor teaches all of Cabot Taekwon-Do's classes. He is also currently a serving member of the Canadian Forces and
has been since 1998.
Mr. Winsor is currently training for his 5th degree under Mr. Mike Morningstar who has been his instructor for many years.
Mr. Morningstar is a former World Champion and has traveled around the world with the founder of Taekwon-Do General Choi Hong Hi.
In 2003 Mr. Morningstar became the first instructor officially sent by the ITF to teach Taekwon-Do in South Korea since 1972.

Since beginning Taekwon-Do Mr. Winsor has competed in, and officiated at, many Provincial, National and International events
winning various awards. He has also attended 5 ITF International Instructors' Courses and was a referee at the 2007 ITF World Championships
in Quebec City. In addition Mr. Winsor has also had personal instruction from the Founder of Taekwon-Do, General Choi Hong Hi and his
son Grandmaster Choi Jung Hwa.
