Technical Seminar with Mr. Mike Morningstar
As always Mr. Morningstar's visit was fantastic and very informative. Saturday morning began with the kids from white belt to green belt. The first 1 1/2 hour was spent with the entire group going over patterns and various fundamentals. The final hour of
the morning session was spent doing sparring drills and free sparring with the yellow to green belts. All the kids were beat out by the end but loved it. The afternoon session stared an
hour later and was with all rank adults and the blue belt and up kids. Everyone was there for the first three hours doing everything...patterns, fundamentals, kicking drills, sparring
drills and free sparring. The last 1 1/2 hours was for black belts only where the black belt patterns were gone over and then Mr. Morningstar spoke about proper etiquette and moral culture,
how it is a very important part of Taekwon-Do. That evening many students went out to dinner with Mr. Morningstar to celebrate Mr. Butt's successful promotion and relax after a tiring and
eventful day. Thank you to Mr. Morningstar for another wonderful weekend. We all look forward to Mr. Morningstar's next visit, hopefully it won't be too long before he's back again.
